Little Bakers
This week in our Nursery the children have been focusing on the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’.
As part of this learning they became little bakers, creating their own Gingerbread Men biscuits. The children followed verbal instructions as they tipped, poured and stirred the ingredients together to create their biscuit dough. They then used their fine motor skills as they rolled and manipulated the dough, using a cutter to create the final shape.
Once the kitchen had kindly cooked the biscuits for us, the children could see the end result of their hard work. They then all got to take their biscuit home to share with their family. Yummy!
