At The Ryleys School, we place the utmost importance on the safety and well-being of our students, both within and outside of the school environment. We recognize the increasing importance of online safety in today's digital world and are committed to ensuring the protection and security of our pupils while they navigate the online realm.
We have ongoing, robust measures to educate our students about responsible internet usage, provide them with the necessary tools to stay safe online, and foster open lines of communication between students, parents, and teachers to address any concerns that may arise. We strive to create a safe and supportive online environment for our pupils, empowering them to make informed decisions and develop the digital skills they need to thrive in the digital age.
In order to support further, please see below a selection of useful links to essential safeguarding guides and information on safety on some of the most prominent platforms used by children between 3-13. We hope this is a useful reference point for our families.
Our school motto, Tu ne cede malis, was created in 1877 and has provided inspiration for all pupils and teachers since. Roughly translated as ‘have courage’ our current pupils work towards building strength of character and having confidence to try new things and achieve more.
