Exploring the Stories of Julia Donaldson
This half term, the Pre Reception children will be learning about Julia Donaldson, with a particular focus on Room on the Broom as their book of the week. A range of engaging activities brought the story to life, including making magic wands, drawing the characters, and practising initial sounds linked to the story. The children also enjoyed acting out the tale, listening carefully to the story, and exploring a selection of Julia Donaldson’s books in the book area.
