Year 2 took to the stage this week for their much-anticipated assembly, exploring the fascinating theme AI, asking the question of whether it is Brain or Battery?
The children entertained the audience with a lively guessing game that had everyone — parents and teachers included — trying to work out whether examples were powered by human brainpower or battery energy!
To round off the assembly, the class performed two brilliant songs. There was plenty of debate in the room about which song had been written by Mr Rowe and which had been created by AI. For the re
cord — the simpler first song was the AI’s work, while the far more creative second number, set to the tune of Soul Sister by Train, was Mr Rowe’s own composition!
A huge well done to Year 2 for an energetic, thought-provoking, and thoroughly enjoyable assembly.
