Kit Car Success
After months of hard work, dedication and teamwork, our pupils took part in the Greenpower kit car race at Curborough, Staffordshire. From an initial collection of parts to a fully functioning race car, the project challenged the children to design, build, problem-solve and fundraise as part of the nationally recognised Greenpower Education Trust programme.

Greenpower provides a valuable opportunity for pupils to develop skills across STEM subjects while also encouraging creativity, resilience, communication and collaboration. The experience goes far beyond the racetrack, helping children to build confidence, teamwork and real-world problem-solving skills in an exciting and engaging way. Although the competition was extremely strong and the team narrowly missed out on the speed trophies, they achieved something even more special by being awarded the prestigious 'Best Team Award'. Chosen by the event officials, this award recognised the pupils' outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, presentation and conduct throughout the event.
We are incredibly proud of the maturity, determination and character shown by every member of the team. Well done to all involved on a truly fantastic achievement
