Gail's Bakery - Kit Car Project 2023
Each year, our Year 6 pupils take part in a fantastic electric kit car project organised through the Greenpower Trust.
Tasked with designing, building, funding and racing their own electric cars, two teams have been successfully creating their portfolios of work in preparation for the first race in June.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Gail's Bakery, for sponsoring the cars this year and their generosity of time, materials and inspiration. The pupils enjoyed a biscuit baking and decorating session in the gorgeous Wilmslow Gail’s Bakery this week and ended with over 200 car shaped cookies to sell.
The team held a fundraising event at school yesterday and raised an impressive £583.
We can’t wait to see the finished cars and celebrate their success.
