Nursery Manager

The Ryleys is a flourishing Preparatory School of girls and boys aged 2-11, based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, with a friendly team of staff. The vast majority of our children, at present start in our Nursery class and then progress on into Pre-School and Pre-Reception before transitioning into our two form entry Reception classes and beyond at The Ryleys.

 

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, committed and creative Nursery Manager, who will impact on the progress of children's learning across the Early Years. We are looking for an inspirational practitioner who will join our established and experienced team and build on our success as an outstanding school.

 

We require an experienced, child and parent-centred person to teach and manage the learning of the Nursery class. Working closely with all the staff, you will make certain that we continue to be recognised as an excellent provider of childcare within the independent sector. This is a full time position, all year round and successful candidates will need to have the appropriate experience and qualifications.

School Business Manager

Alderley Edge, Cheshire

The Ryleys School is looking to recruit an experienced School Business Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Headteacher, you will be responsible for:

 

•Financial Resource Management

•Administration Management

•Management Information and ICT

•Human Resource Management

•Facility & Property Management

•Health & Safety Management of the School.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

·         Have experience of a similar role in school or educational setting (desirable)

·         Have an excellent understanding of finance and budget management (essential)

·         Have secure working knowledge of health, safety and safeguarding procedures (desirable)

·         Be exceptionally well organised and efficient, with attention to detail (essential)

·         Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as flexibility in demanding situations (essential)

·         Have the ability to successfully lead and manage the school administration and site management team (essential)
