THE RYLEYS ENJOYS SUCCESS AT THE ALDERLEY EDGE MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Ryleys School in Alderley Edge has a lot to be proud of after sweeping the board at last weekend's Alderley Edge Music Festival; winning in all five of the choir categories and claiming the Rowell Cup.

"We've thoroughly enjoyed the festival this year and its all down to the drive, hard work and commitment the boys put in over the year," said Jenny Grant, director of Music at The Ryleys School.

"We are delighted with the success of our pupils in this year's festival. They are among so many excellent performances that show the depth of musical and dramatic talent among children in this area, a testament to the fine teaching and encouragement from all the schools taking part," said Pat Barrett, Headmaster, The Ryleys School.

"Thanks must go to Keith Lowe and all his fantastic team for organising such a super festival."
