Extra Curricular

There is only so much that can be fitted into a school day, with this in mind our activity programme is an integral part of providing children with the widest range of opportunities and experiences.

These consist of 45 minute/1 hour after-school sessions in which children can choose from a wide selection of clubs, societies and activities.

Most are run by the school staff and are cost-free, while others draw upon outside professional expertise e.g. judo; in these cases, a small charge is made.

Each term a new selection of activities is available to all pupils, so they can experience as many as they wish.

Activities have included: cookery, basketball, table tennis, traditional games, ballet, orchestra, sewing, poetry, woodwork, pottery, story club, music experience, soccer, cricket nets, chess, maths club, gymnastics and many more.

If you would like to find out more about extra cirricular activities at The Ryleys, or to arrange to come and see us, call our school secretary on 01625 583241.
